Sandy Lane Yacht Club is Canouan's premier luxury marina and one of the most sophisticated yacht facilities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Visiting yachts should contact the marina before entering so the dock team can confirm the appropriate berth based on yacht length, draft and utility requirements.

The approach is marked by a safe-water mark and buoyed channel leading into the marina. Larger yacht movements can temporarily restrict maneuvering inside the channel, so crews should follow marina instructions closely when superyachts are arriving or departing. Canouan Airport is immediately beside the marina, and cruising guidance also advises yachts to remain clear of the airport's final approach area when navigating nearby waters.

Sandy Lane Yacht Club is primarily a marina rather than an anchorage, so visiting yachts normally berth alongside its pontoons instead of remaining at anchor in Glossy Bay. The marina can accommodate vessels up to 100 meters, with a reported maximum draft of approximately 5.5 meters. Fuel, potable water, shore power, pump-out facilities and professional dock assistance are available directly at the berth.

Yachts that prefer to remain at anchor can use Charlestown Bay / Grand Bay farther north along Canouan's west coast. It is the island's principal traditional anchorage and generally offers good holding in sand, although strong northeasterly gusts and northerly swell can make conditions uncomfortable. For crews prioritizing security, utilities and straightforward shore access, Sandy Lane Yacht Club is the more complete option.

Sandy Lane Yacht Club is an official Port of Entry for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, allowing visiting yachts to arrange Customs and Immigration clearance in Canouan. The marina can assist crews with the clearance process and also provides superyacht provisioning, island transport and other concierge services.
